This 90-minute workshop facilitated by Adam Dodge (EndTAB) equips New York State Enough is Enough Providers with the knowledge to understand and address tools behind tech-enabled abuse, including chatbots, facial recognition stalking, deepfakes, AI-generated nudes, and more. Participants will explore how these technologies are weaponized to enact digitally facilitated sexual violence, their implications for survivors, and best practices for fostering awareness and prevention through campus workshops. Participants will have time for questions at the end.

As a result of this session, participants will be better able to:

  • Recognize and describe various tools and technologies, such as chatbots, facial recognition stalking sites, deepfakes and AI-generated nudes, used to perpetrate digitally facilitated sexual violence
  • Articulate the ways these tools are weaponized to cause harm, including privacy violations, stalking, and reputational damage, and explain their unique impacts on survivors
  • Identify and integrate best practices for addressing and discussing these emerging tools in workshops with campuses and students to foster awareness and prevention

This meeting will be recorded and posted to the EiE Provider Portal. A recording link will not be sent to registrants. Please register here.
